Project Content and Objectives
As part of a group-wide HR digitalization strategy, the existing HR system landscape is being fundamentally modernized and transitioned into an integrated, cloud-based target architecture. The goal of this transformation program is the full digitalization of all core HR processes and the establishment of a scalable, future-ready HR platform based on SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HCM for S/4HANA, and the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
Following the successful completion of a comprehensive conceptual study, the implementation program was launched. In addition to the rollout of all SAP SuccessFactors modules, the migration from SAP ERP HCM to SAP HCM for S/4HANA is being carried out during ongoing operations. Additionally, a central employee portal based on SAP Work Zone is being developed to consolidate HR, IT, and service processes into a unified interface.
A particular focus lies on mapping complex time models and on-call processes within Employee Central Time Management, as well as the introduction of Workforce Analytics for steering-relevant personnel data evaluation. The integration architecture is being fully realized via SAP BTP and enhanced with custom-built extensions.
The result is an integrated HR system landscape characterized by high automation, a clear governance structure, and a technological foundation for future AI-driven HR processes.
